Monday, February 23, 2015

At this moment in time, I am undergoing what I would consider to be the most stressful period of time I have ever gone through in my entire life. Senior year (as fun as it can be with all its perks) has been a very demanding school year for me. The rigorous courses I am taking along with the many extracurriculars that I am required to balance on the side is quite the load. But I still somehow manage to find time for a little TLC; you should never underestimate the importance of maintaining your stress levels. Too much stress can cause unwanted breakdowns and a negative state of mind. Here are 8 ways that I have found help me relieve stress fast that could potentially aid you in your quest to a stress-free life...

Meet the Blogger

I am eighteen years old and I was born and raised in the Sunshine State (aka Florida). Florida is most likely where I will stay for a very long time - there are just so many qualities and features to this state that I enjoy too much to ever leave behind. In a few months I will be starting a new chapter of my life that I am both fearful and excited to read; I guess the idea that I will be on my own for the first time ever makes me a bit anxious, but I know the butterflies will disappear as the times comes near.

I am a lover of sunshine, sweets, and all things Disney - I may be eighteen, but I do not plan on growing up anytime soon. Running is a passion of mine that I can never get enough of and I know I never will. Some of my dreams include running a marathon, earning a master's degree in a field I know I will enjoy working in every day, and traveling to many beautiful places. The little things about life are my favorite things; those little moments are some of the ones you never truly forget because they make you feel at your best, thus why I personally appreciate them the most. I try my best to make use of every second I have and devote all of myself into everything I do. I have a feeling that as I continue on with this blog, journalism may become a major passion of mine also; the idea of being a blogger is one that just always excited me, so I look forward to seeing how this all turns out.

This blog will be a documentation of my life; one day you could be reading about an amazing time I had or something I found that sparked an interest in me and then the next day you could be reading about a life lesson that I uncovered based on an event that occurred. If I feel like I have run into an issue or topic that could benefit someone somewhere with my input, then this is where it will go so that others have the ability to possibly gain something out of what has happened to me and what I have to say about it. Basically I am here to inspire and be inspired, to encourage and be encouraged; I find blogs to be wonderful sources of motivation and hopefully my blog will serve as an influence to someone as some blogs do to me.

Welcome to my life and I hope you enjoy my blog.
