Lilly Pulitzer for Target Collection Lookbook Favorites

Thursday, March 26, 2015

If you are a huge Lilly Pulitzer fan like me, then you probably already know that the Lilly Pulitzer for Target Collection is set to drop on April 19th. Well, for those of you that have not heard yet: the official Lookbook for the collection has been released on the Target website! (commence fangirling) My favorite part about the collection would definitely be the variety of exclusive patterns and the way cheaper prices. Obviously the items in this collection do not beat true Lilly Pulitzer brand articles, but I believe some pieces will definitely be worth purchasing. Here are the items that I will be running to my nearest Target for at the break of dawn on the release day.

1. Swimwear Tops and Bottoms
My without-a-doubt favorite type of clothing in the collection is the swimwear. At $24 a piece with beautiful patterns, these tops and bottoms would definitely make a great addition to any swim collection. Certainly going to be stocking up for the summer!
2. Wedge Sandals
There is a pair of wedge sandals in the collection that I just fell in love with the minute they popped up on my screen. If you had seen my face the second I saw those wedges, you would have thought of the heart-eyed emoji for sure. Golden, gorgeous, and a got-to-have item for me!

How to Ace a Phone Interview

Wednesday, March 25, 2015

The interview process is nothing new to me - I have interviewed for three different jobs in the past and even though I would always walk in nervous and antsy, I would leave the building confident that I had impressed the interviewer. I guess you could say I just have a lot of faith in my social skills and my ability to answer questions well enough to a point where I know I have grasped the interviewer's attention. But today I faced a type of interview that I have never experienced before: a telephone interview. And while I believe I am partially skilled when it comes to the whole one-one-one in-person type of interview, I was completely clueless when it came to trying to impress someone over the phone. But after a bit of research before the dreaded call and a brief reflection afterward of how I felt I did, I decided to compile and present to you all what I believe to be the best tips to acing a phone interview...

Top 5 Reasons I Love Disney World

Sunday, March 1, 2015

For those of you who are not aware, I am a Disney fanatic. I live within an hour from Walt Disney World and travel there often to use the annual pass I have. During breaks from school, trips are a lot more frequent; unfortunately, school work and activities take up a big portion of my time during the school year so I can only get out there maybe once, sometimes twice a week at this time of year. However, no matter how long I have been away, my love for the Disney parks has never faded. And after a very rainy trip to Epcot yesterday, I was inspired to create this blog post. Here are the top 5 reasons I love Disney World so much (in no specific order)...
