Top 5 Reasons I Love Disney World

Sunday, March 1, 2015

For those of you who are not aware, I am a Disney fanatic. I live within an hour from Walt Disney World and travel there often to use the annual pass I have. During breaks from school, trips are a lot more frequent; unfortunately, school work and activities take up a big portion of my time during the school year so I can only get out there maybe once, sometimes twice a week at this time of year. However, no matter how long I have been away, my love for the Disney parks has never faded. And after a very rainy trip to Epcot yesterday, I was inspired to create this blog post. Here are the top 5 reasons I love Disney World so much (in no specific order)...

1. The scenery is beautiful.
Theme parks are supposed to be picture-worthy places, and Disney World certainly has a lot of spots that are worthy of taking up some space in your phone or camera. From Cinderella's Castle at Magic Kingdom (the picture I took myself above!) to the grass sculptures of your favorite characters at Epcot, you will definitely want to capture every little thing on your trip to this magical and enchanting place.

2. Being at Disney has always been a major stress reliever for me.
There has always just been something about being at a Disney park that has caused me major relief. Whenever I feel stressed over school or an issue that is bothering me between family or friends, I try to get out to Disney as soon as possible. When I am there, whatever problem it was that was bothering me just disappears for awhile. It is a great feeling to be able to get away from the real world for a bit and just enjoy the positive atmosphere that Disney World has to offer - must be because Tinkerbell leaves some pixie dust lying around so people can fly up to cloud nine.

3. The food and treats are all amazing.
I could recommended a variety of places that I believe have great tasting food to offer at Disney World, but I will spare your eyes the pain of having to read such a lengthy list. Let's just say that if you ever want to put Disney's service to the test, go ahead and be their guest; tie your napkin around your neck and let them do the rest - these chefs won't let you down!

4. The rides never get old and there's one for every mood.
The attractions and rides that Disney World has to offer are all too fun to pass up. And whether you want something laid back like It's A Small World, something a little bit scary such as Haunted Mansion, or something extreme like Expedition Everest, Disney has it all!

5. My inner child never fails to come out.
The last and most important reason to why I love Disney World so much is because my inner child never fails to take over when I am there. It does not matter what park I am at or what I happen to be doing; just taking in the air at a Disney park and witnessing all the different families and cast members in costume is enough to make me feel like I am five years old again - and I absolutely love that feeling more than any other.

Let me know in the comments below if you have ever been to a Disney park and if so what your favorite thing about your time there was. And a little tip for everyone before I take off: Don't ever let the rain stop you from having a good time wherever you are. Always strive to make the most out of what the day still has to offer you. You may end up soaking wet on the drive home, but at least you now have some great new memories that you won't soon forget.
